Big Sky Speedway in Billings Montana Wild West Late Model Tour Friday and Saturday Night Fired things off with a Bang!
The Wild West Late Model Tour opened the weekend at Big Sky Speedway in Billings Montana Friday night and David Smith 06 from Alberta Canada set the pace.
Smith held off the 86 Car Mathew Smith, but it wasn’t long before The 44 Car Eric Mass of Rapid South Dakota moved from third place out of turn four and passed the leader down the front stretch.
Mass lead the remaining 14 laps and took his career main event wins to 245.
Saturday Night Dwayne Fowler succeeds as he takes the trophy for the A Main in the Street Stock Division after a fierce battle between the 14 Car of Jeremy Castro and the 18 Car of Brice Miesmer
MidWest Modifieds continued day 2 of the Wild West Late Model Tour as Scott Bintz 1S Blazed a trail to the finish line after a back and forth battle with Dan Wheeler “The RED 1” and Kyle Harkin #55 from Hermosa South Dakota.
The IMCA Modifieds joined in on day 2 an Exciting Show was had as Bart Taylor #369 took the win after an intense battle between Tracy Wittenberg #7,Jeremy Meirhofer #32M, and Kolby Hannah #28H.
Kenny Baumann #2B finished a fast paced 2nd place.
Rapid Citys’ own, Casey Skyberg #6 took the lead and set the pace in the Late Models Wild West Tour A Main Event and the pack was unleashed behind him.
David Smith #06 from AB Canada battled for the lead as Huron South Dakotas’ 1QT Car driven by Brian Diede stormed the field and lead the 26 car field to the finish with a victory under his belt at Big Sky Speedway!
The advertised “Party in the Dirt” continued long into the night as fans stayed and expressed their continued delight of the newly improved race facility and its’ new ownership
