Landon Britt perseveres in ASCS National Big Sky double; Electric City on deck
Despite motor issues making a mess of his first night at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Montana, Memphis, Tennessee's Landon Britt regrouped in a hurry, returning for night two of the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) National Tour invasion on Saturday, August 23, and finishing 17th - an incredible feat with nearly 40 of the nation's finest 360 wheelmen entered for action.
Although a great ending to his weekend in big sky country, Britt, who is currently tenth in the ASCS national standings, was forced to do things the hard way, driving his way into the Saturday night A-Main by way of Last Chance Showdown victory. Britt was forced to the LCS after missing a heat race transfer position by one spot.
The ASCS National Tour will continue their crisscross of Montana with a two-day visit to Electric City Speedway in Great Falls on Friday and Saturday, August 29-30. For more news, visit ASCS online at www.ascsracing.com.
