BILLINGS, Mont. (June 3, 2024) Readying for a return to the track this weekend, the ASCS Frontier Region will head for Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade, Mont. on Friday, May 7 before a return to Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont. on Saturday, June 8.

Presented by Lehrkinds Inc., the first event of the season at Gallatin Speedway will see a familiar winner back in action as Kelly Miller looks to keep the momentum from this past weekend’s win at Casper Speedway going. Taking top honors in the tour’s last two visits to Gallatin, Miller split time in Victory Lane last weekend with fellow ASCS Frontier competitor Trever Kirkland, who looks to end a winless streak at the southwestern Montana oval that goes back to 2017.

Friday, June 7, at Gallatin Speedway, opens at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, and free for kids 12 and under. Gallatin Speedway is located at 2290 Tubb Rd. in Belgrade, Mont. Information on the track is on their Facebook page, or by calling (406) 388-9666. Along with the ASCS Frontier Region, Friday’s bill includes IMCA Modifieds, WISSOTA Super Stocks, and Street Stocks.

A two-day reduced to one by mother nature to kick off the 2024 season, the tour’s first trip to Big Sky Speedway this season went the way of Tyler Thomas. Saturday, June 8 at Big Sky Speedway open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for veterans and seniors (65+), and free for kids 60-inches tall or shorter. Big Sky Wingless Sprints, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, and Wissota Super Stocks are also on the lineup.

Big Sky Speedway is located at Hwy. 87 North, Mile Marker 16, just outside Billings, Mont. For more information on the three-eighths-mile oval, log onto https://www.bigskyspeedway.com or call (406) 696-8661.

Both nights are $1,400 to win, and now $400 to start. An increase over previous seasons for the regional drivers.

The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.

A reminder that all teams competing in ASCS competition must have a current DIRTcar Membership. That can be purchased at https://shorturl.at/nuIU2. The membership is $125 and is good for the 2024 calendar year.
